State Based Building Performance Consultant
The Building Performance Consultant provides a variety of technical and contractor support services to remote home performance programs. Technical services include quality assurance inspections of home performance jobs performed, serving as instructor for building science training and proctoring exams, and providing software support (REM/Rate and TREAT). Contractor support services include answering questions, solving problems, training, and mentoring. This position requires significant regional travel with occasional overnight travel.
 
Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience in home construction or remodeling with advanced knowledge of building science principles. Experience using building diagnostic equipment helpful but not required. Prior experience delivering training or instruction preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Competency with a variety of computer applications and the ability to communicate advanced computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Interest in and enthusiasm for energy conservation.

Senior Consultant
As a member of the Services to Programs Unit, provide senior level consulting and oversight to state and utility programs. Manage the activities of remote program staff, including providing technical and managerial support, and budgeting support.
Track program deliverables and maintain client relations. Monitor and stay abreast of industry and technology trends as they relate to programs and play key role in expanding programs in response to market developments. Write proposals for new/expanded state and utility programs. Support other senior staff in the development of management systems and budgets.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years experience providing high level management and/or consulting services with corporate and/or government clients, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience managing activities with remote staff. Demonstrated experience writing funding proposals. Strong presentation, writing and technical skills.

Marketing Manager
As a member of the Marketing and Business Development team, you will oversee development and implementation of company marketing plan. Responsible for developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. Evaluates customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implements marketing plan changes as needed. Oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional staff and activities. Develop printed marketing materials, and oversee company web sites. Conduct market development activities to educate consumers and increase market for company activities.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in marketing or communications and at least 2 years relevant experience. Experience with desktop publishing and web development software. Excellent presentation skills, as well as oral and written communications. Experience in the green building and/or energy industries desirable.

Building Performance Engineer
The Building Performance Engineer will use his or her knowledge of engineering and building performance to provide technical support, research and project management for projects. The Building Performance Engineer is responsible for developing analysis tools and techniques to support the efficient delivery of these services. Research will typically focus on green building materials and procedures as well as statistical analysis. Project management will include maintaining client relationships, tracking progress towards deliverables and maintaining budgets and additional duties.
 
Qualifications:
Certifications in green building (USGBC LEED) energy rating (RESNET), building performance (BPI) and related areas will be considered an advantage, bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and related graduate education will be considered an advantage.
 
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation is salaried, based on an hourly rate of $20 to $22 per hour depending on experience and education. Benefits, after 90 days, include health insurance, 401K, paid vacation, flexible spending plan. Bonus pay based on company wide and individual performance.
