Performance Systems Development is seeking a high-performing Administrative Assistant with a proven track record of success in providing administrative support, customer service, and call center support to join our team.
We are nationally recognized for our work in the building science and energy efficiency industries. We focus on the development and delivery of creative and powerful solutions for energy efficiency programs and professionals. Our company provides a whole-systems approach to EE strategies through our work on advancing energy policies, designing and delivering cost-effective EE programs, and building software tools to improve data tracking and reporting. Our core business efforts span three major areas: 1) the delivery of high-impact EE programs for utilities, state agencies, and other organizations throughout the U.S.; 2) workforce development and industry training; and 3) the design and development of award-winning software platforms for energy simulation & building benchmarking.
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to multiple energy efficiency programs, including customer support, rebate processing, data processing and analysis, logistical and clerical support, and meeting summaries. Familiarity with energy efficiency program delivery and relevant residential and/or commercial technologies a plus.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: respond to inquiries from homeowners, contractors, and business owners about efficiency program offerings and rebate status, validate and process rebate applications, analyze program data and produce summaries to support invoicing and reporting, provide logistical support for meetings and events, schedule inspection work, attend and write summaries of client meetings.
This position is based out of PSD’s Chestnut Hill office in Philadelphia PA, with occasional overnight travel required (2-4 times per year).
Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree, with 2-4 years of office experience. Must be highly organized with outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and editing skills, creative problem solving, ability to work under deadlines with energy and enthusiasm, ability to multitask in a collaborative office environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent computer skills, including proficiency in a variety of common software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Ability to travel up to 20% regionally. Project a professional image through in-person and phone interactions. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to maintain relationships with PSD staff in remote locations.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience. Analytical skills, and proficiency in SalesForce or other database applications a strong plus. Fluency in Spanish or other language a strong plus.
