The second part of the course will cover 2018 IECC\, IRC\, and Massachusetts amendments relating to whole-house mechanical ventilation system requirements. Massachusetts legislation requires the Commonwealth to adopt the latest version of the IECC within a year of its publication. While the adoption has not always occurred on schedule\, the Board of Building Regulations and Standards is actively reviewing the 2018 IECC with an eye to adopt in the first half of 2019.
