Part 2 will review the Simulated Building Performance Path in R405 as well as the Energy Rating Index Path in Section R406 and will discuss the changes to the mandatory requirements between the 2020 ECCCNYS and the 2025 ECCCNYS\, as well as more information about how to calculate the ERI. \nLEARNING OBJECTIVES: \n1. Apply the Energy Rating Index Path from Section R406 to assess residential building compliance with energy codes. \n2. Utilize the changes between the 2020 ECCCNYS and the 2025 ECCCNYS to modify compliance strategies for residential energy performance. \n3. Calculate the Energy Rating Index (ERI) for a residential building using the prescribed methodology. \n4. Implement performance-based compliance techniques to enhance energy code adherence in residential construction projects.
