We are nationally recognized for our work in the building science and energy efficiency (EE) industries. We focus on the development and delivery of creative and powerful solutions for energy efficiency programs and professionals. Our company provides a whole-systems approach to EE strategies through our work on advancing energy policies, designing and delivering cost-effective EE programs, and building software tools to improve data tracking and reporting. Our core business efforts span three major areas: 1) the delivery of high-impact EE programs for utilities, state agencies, and other organizations throughout the U.S.; 2) workforce development and industry training; and 3) the design and development of award-winning software platforms for energy simulation & building benchmarking.

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to program staff in various locations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include generating reports for Performance Systems Development (PSD) staff, maintaining supporting documentation, tracking and reporting various program data, and responsibility for general support and administrative duties, as required.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Logistical support for in-person and online training programs including scheduling, coordinating, and reporting on events
  • Create and manage webinar attendee reports
  • Develop, record, and maintain accurate training schedules in PSD’s systems
  • Communicate and report to organizations outside of PSD
  • Ensure goals and deadlines are met
  • Populate and maintain Excel spreadsheets
  • Field customer emails as necessary, refer to the appropriate person or provide accurate information to the customer

Minimum Requirements:

Associates Degree, with 2-4 years of office experience. Must be highly organized with outstanding customer service, attention to detail, and editing skills, creative problem solving, ability to work under deadlines with energy and enthusiasm, ability to multitask in a collaborative office environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent computer skills, including proficiency in a variety of common software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Project a professional image through in-person, email, and phone interactions. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to maintain relationships with PSD staff in remote locations.

Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; analytical skills; familiarity with webinar programs, energy efficiency programs and residential and/or commercial building technologies, Microsoft Teams, and WordPress.
