R-NY-5 The Performance Edge: Smarter Paths to Code Compliance Part 1

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Performance-based approaches to the energy codes result in higher rates of compliance when compared to traditional prescriptive methods. This course will take a deep dive into the performance-based compliance options of the 2025 Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State. Part 1 will review the Envelope Component Performance Alternative in Section R402.1.5 and Section R408 by providing a step-by-step guide to using REScheck Compliance Software.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

1. Summarize the step-by-step process of using REScheck Compliance Software for energy code compliance.​
