Upcoming HERS Rater Training
To begin or maintain an active partnership with ENERGY STAR, an organization must have at least one individual on staff who is a certified Rater and has completed the required training through an accredited training provider.
ENERGY STAR Certified Homes – November 1st and 2nd, 2021
This training is for the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes Version 3 training. Test will be given following the final day of training.
ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction Rater Training – November 3rd – 5th, 2021
Raters must complete the MFNC Version 1 Training prior to certifying projects in the new Multifamily New Construction ENERGY STAR program. This training meets this requirement, and will earn you enough PDHs to renew your Rater Certification for 3 years! Test will be given following the final day of training.

This training combines the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes Version 3 training with the Multifamily New Construction ENERGY STAR Version 1 Training. This training meets this requirement, and will earn you enough PDHs to renew your Rater Certification for 3 years!
RESNET HERS Rater Training – January 17-28, 2022 and February 7-11, 2022
This comprehensive package has everything a student needs to be well prepared to become a HERS rater. HERS Rater Training is the first step towards Rater Certification. To learn more about the requirements for certification click here. Both online and classroom components are required for Rater Certification. Early Bird Discount deadline is December 21, 2021. Final registration deadline is January 4, 2022.
