PSD, an energy services and technology company, is pleased to announce its new Director of Energy Code Services, Sunayana Jain. As Director, Sunayana is leading PSD’s Energy Codes offering, which implements Residential and Commercial Energy Code Programs throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
Sunayana brings over 15 years of experience in energy efficiency, engineering, and construction. Her responsibilities include oversight of the implementation of energy code programs by strategizing, staffing, and providing the necessary tools to ensure successful delivery for our clients.

She has extensive experience providing technical assistance and certification for ENERGY STAR, Enterprise Green Communities, and high-performance Multifamily Affordable Housing. She has also worked directly with state agencies and property owners to assist them with obtaining rebates, tax credits, incentives, and low-interest-rate funding. Sunayana has provided energy audits and technical support to existing building owners for energy efficiency upgrades. Her work included developing RFPs, soliciting bids from contractors, and conducting Resiliency, Net Zero Energy, Passive House, and Zero Carbon Assessments of the properties.
“PSD will continue to grow energy code services by providing expertise and dedicated approaches to improving energy code adoption,” said Jain. “We emphasize the importance of client relations and employee knowledge to keep moving energy codes forward.”
Sunayana holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Texas A&M University. She has previously worked with New Ecology, CoolSys, Atelier Ten, and L&S Energy Services.
