PSD will provide building envelope water management education on behalf of the Philadelphia Department of Licenses & Inspections. PSD’s Energy Code Services team will develop training materials and present to the department’s internal staff and external public participants on the principles of water control management in building envelopes to include areas of typical system failures. Attendees will learn how to prevent rot, mold, and combat an adverse indoor air quality environment. The training sessions that are open to the public will be held virtually between December 2023 and May 2024.
