Residential Stretch Code Overview Part 1:
This module is meant to give a introduction to the new residential stretch code and what has changed. High level discussion of prescriptive pathway and how it applies to existing buildings 1000sqft and under. Updates to the new residential stretch code such as existing buildings over 1000 sqft, HRV/RRV mechanical ventilation. We discuss new HERS numbers and when they go into effect. Discuss the mandatory requirements that must be meet. Look at EV ready requirements and Solar ready requirements. The new municipal opt in code will be discussed.
