PSD was recently re-awarded a 4-year contract to manage third-party QA inspection services for New Jersey’s low-income energy efficiency program. The New Jersey Comfort Partners Program is a free program that helps income-eligible customers reduce their utility bills by implementing cost-effective measures which save energy and money while improving their home’s safety and comfort.
The Comfort Partners Program takes a comprehensive approach to energy savings, including energy efficiency, building performance, and health and safety issues. As a result, Comfort Partners has helped over 118,000 families improve home comfort and save energy!
“Our team emphasizes the importance of health and safety, the quality of the work completed, and the customer’s understanding of the benefits they’re receiving. It’s imperative that customers receive personalized energy education on the energy measures installed to ensure they maximize effectiveness,” says Director of Program Strategy & Design, Joe Nunley.
Other QA program services awarded to PSD include FirstEnergy Corp’s WARM QA in Met-Ed, Penelec, Penn Power, and West Penn Power territories, PECO’s LIHEAP, and Philadelphia Gas Works’ (PGW) Home Comfort program, Repair and Renew Pilot, and the Low-Income Multifamily Efficiency (LIME) Pilot.
