PSD was recently acknowledged by the White House Office for work with the OpenEfficiency Initiative

PSD is proud to be able to contribute our skills and experience to this effort.  We have been market leaders in the standardization of data in our introduction of the HPXML data standard that is now part of the DOE BEDES effort, with EPA as a long time provider of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager data services, in supporting DOE, NREL and leading utilities in the use of OpenStudio as a standardized approach to model savings for new and existing buildings, supporting LBNL as a developer for SEED, and most recently supporting DOE and PNNL efforts with the Commercial Building Asset Score.

Linked together, these tools can provide powerful enterprise level solutions that dramatically increase the efficiency and reduce the risk of supporting energy efficiency transactions.  PSD has been awarded a contract from DOE funding to support this linkage, the OpenEfficiency Initiative.
